this is a public square

‘what is my body?’
                                                     ‘what is my body?’
                                                                                                      ‘isn’t my body.’

‘this is a public square’ is a clown performance that situates the (trans) body as wayward material among the built landscape. The performance works with found text, participation, and material collaboration to collapse language of identity and community to practice alternative modes of worlding.

Duration: 50 mins.

Suitable for ages 18+

Content notes: This performance contains partial nudity, and the use of corn flour (particles may be dispersed in the performance space).
