What’s the point of seeing ourselves looking at what we saw? It may remind us about mystery and hope.
Eye of now (o cómo verme mirando lo que vi) is an exploration of memory: how it’s created as we retell it, and revisited when life, chance, and the world offer that possibility. Based on autobiographical events, this performance is an invitation to trust in mystery and hope, and how we may find it in others.
Duration: 45 mins.
Content note: This performance includes moments of voluntary audience participation, live recording, and low lighting. It encompasses an allusion to suicide and depictions of the process of grief.
